Chicago Women in Trades honors all of the tradeswomen who have built the organization throughout its history. From our founders to new apprentices entering the industry today, all have played an essential role in pushing the movement forward. We want to use the opportunity of our anniversary to especially recognize some of these women and are asking you to help us identify those who best represent what it means to make a difference for women in the construction/manufacturing workforce. Is there someone who helped you thrive in your career, someone who paved the way in your union or at your company, someone who is using her leadership role to help other women, or maybe an emerging leader that you want to encourage?
We are asking that you complete your nomination no later than Friday, September 29th. Once we receive the nominations, the Tradeswomen’s Council will review the submissions and select the awardees. Thank you so much for your participation!
