Welder Lupe Hinojosa changed the trajectory of her life by pursuing a career that deeply sparked her passion.
As a single mother of 4, I was motivated to jump start a new fulfilling career and provide financial stability for my family. With the support and training of Chicago Women in Trades, I was able to leave my abusive relationship in the past and empower myself to a brighter future. I've found welding to be a satisfying fit for my strengths and have finally found my true calling.
